Dr. Shaminder Kaur is a British-trained General Practitioner who graduated from the University of Manchester in 2008, She has earned degrees in both Medical Biochemistry and Medicine. She has developed a comprehensive expertise in general practice working both in the UK & Australia. Dr Kaur has a particular focus on supporting women and children of all ages with holistic and personalised care.

Her areas of special interest include chronic disease management, adolescent health, contraception, period problems, family planning, pre-pregnancy counseling, early pregnancy management, and managing the complexities of peri-menopause, menopause, and post-menopause care.

Dr. Kaur is an antenatal shared-care provider and an active member of the Australiasian Menopause Society. She offers customised, evidence-based treatments designed to meet the unique needs of each individual.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Kaur is a regular speaker and provides presentations to various groups on peri-menopause and menopause, aiming to educate and empower women about these important life stages.

She offers a highly personalised approach towards building a long term relationship with her patients is passionate about implementing health and wellness to daily routines.

In her spare time Dr Kaur enjoys an active lifestyle. She practices pilates, strength training, hiking, sauna and enjoys regular travel, as well as being a keen cook and baker. She is also a keen advocate of animal welfare and charitable work, a nature lover whom has recently started to take a keen interest in growing her own vegetables in an organic environment.
